By using HitZero, published on the App Store as "Hit Zero Cheer" ("the app"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. Description of Service
HitZero is a competitive cheerleading score tracking and bid monitoring application. It aggregates publicly available competition results and user-submitted scores into a unified experience for parents, coaches, athletes, and fans.
2. Score Accuracy
Competition scores displayed in HitZero are sourced from publicly available results and user submissions. We make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy but do not guarantee that scores are complete, current, or error-free. Scores are provided for informational purposes only and should not be treated as official results. Always refer to the event producer's official results for authoritative data.
Each score in the app carries a source indicator (official scrape, user-submitted, or OCR-extracted) so you can assess its provenance.
3. Data Freshness
HitZero targets same-day score freshness (within hours of an event concluding). The app does not provide real-time scoring. Delays may occur due to source availability, processing time, or network conditions.
4. Subscriptions and Payments
- HitZero offers a free tier (1 team follow, ad-supported) and a paid tier ($4.99/month or $39.99/year, unlimited follows, push notifications, offline caching, ad-free).
- Paid subscriptions are auto-renewable and billed through Apple's App Store.
- New users receive a 30-day free trial of the paid tier. You will not be charged during the trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription.
- You can cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings (Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Refunds are handled by Apple per their App Store refund policy.
5. Promo Codes
Promo codes grant paid-tier access for the duration specified by the code. Codes are non-transferable and may have usage limits or expiration dates. We reserve the right to revoke promo code access if codes are shared or used in violation of these terms.
6. User-Submitted Content
If you submit scores for independent events, you represent that the information is accurate to the best of your knowledge. Submitted scores are attributed to your account and labeled as user-submitted in the app. We reserve the right to remove or flag submissions that appear inaccurate or abusive.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Scrape, crawl, or programmatically access the app or its APIs.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app.
- Use the app for any unlawful purpose.
- Submit intentionally false or misleading score data.
- Attempt to circumvent subscription or feature restrictions.
8. Intellectual Property
The HitZero name, logo, and app design are our property. Competition data displayed in the app is sourced from third parties and attributed accordingly. We do not claim ownership of third-party data.
9. Privacy
Your use of the app is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the app if you violate these terms. You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it from your device.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that scores will be accurate or timely.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
